What time does the tour start?

Regular times (every day, 7 days per week) for our tours are:

  • Walk About History – 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.
  • African American History – 12:00 Noon
  • Civil War – 4:00 p.m.

Times will change with the seasons. If you don’t see availability on our website’s sign-up calendar, please call us at 757-634-2452.

Are advance tickets required?

Yes. 24 hours’ notice is required for online reservations; MINIMUM 2 hours’ notice – if you are already in Williamsburg — by phone at 757-634-2452.

Can I pay you when I get there?

No. Online and phone reservations only, in advance.

How much are the tours?

Tickets are $19 each for adults. $16 for ages 7-14. Kids ages 6 and under are free.

How long are the tours?

All tours are 1½ hours (90 minutes) in length.

Do we get to go inside the houses?

No. These are outdoor tours that require about one mile of casual walking with a tour guide.

Where can I park?

Please refer to the Colonial Williamsburg website for up-to-date information on locations, rates and smartphone apps. Allow enough time to find parking and arrive on foot.

I can’t make my tour time, can I get a refund?

Tours start on time. 24 hours’ notice is required for a refund. There are no exceptions.
